Patron Founders
Revered as Gurudev, Pt. Shriram Sharma Acharya devoted his life to reviving Vedic wisdom in modern, scientific form. His vision — "Hum Badlenge — Yug Badlega" (We will change, the era will change) — guides millions of sadhaks across the world.
The Montreal chapter carries forward this mission through community sadhana, yagya, study circles and youth programs rooted in spiritual humanism.
1911 — 1990 · Anwalkheda, Agra
A saint-scholar, social reformer and visionary, Gurudev devoted his life to reviving Vedic wisdom in a scientific, modern form. He translated the entire Vedic Vangmaya into Hindi and authored over 2,400 books on every aspect of life. His Yug Nirman Yojna and the founding of Shantikunj, Haridwar continue to guide millions of sadhaks toward inner refinement and a brighter era.
1926 — 1994 · Co-founder, Gayatri Pariwar
Mataji was the spiritual companion and equal in Gurudev's mission. After his Mahasamadhi in 1990, she fearlessly led the Pariwar — organising the historic Shraddhanjali Samaroh attended by over 15 lakh devotees and inaugurating the worldwide series of Ashwamedha Yagyas in 1992. Her grace, courage and motherly love shaped a generation of sadhaks across the globe.
